Have you started pinking up yet? I, errr, may still have some work to do at Landcare…but it will get there!
Have you registered for the Pink Up Parkes Landcare Walk and Wellness morning? You can reserve your spot online.
We are meeting near the Elvis Statue at 8am for our Walk photo and walking 2km to our destination at PAC Park Waterwise Garden, via East Street.
When we arrive at the Garden we will have a beautiful breakfast (kindly sponsored by InLink and Edge Consulting) with heavenly Bacon and egg rolls. We also have delicious granola made by Sweet Nourishment.
All of the family is welcome to join part or all activities. We will have our team of face painters and finger nail painters and will be doing some path chalking and have a lovely raffle up for grabs, so make sure you bring some spare change!
The link is on our website and facebook for registration, but you just need to go to www.stickytickets and type in Pink Up Parkes Walk or text me on 0418 611 053 or cwllpo@hotmail.com
While you are there, book in for one of our wellness sessions. Learn about propagation and propagate some plants for your own garden. We will also have some fabulous giveaway plants that are going to pink up your garden! You can help out with some planting and enjoy time in the waterwise garden with Michael from Parkes Shire Council.
We are also pleased to welcome Jess from Kerin Physiotherapy Co who is going to provide some useful advice and information on how to maintain or regain fitness. Jess is passionate about providing a high-quality service to her clients and has a special interest in working with people during their cancer journey. It is great to have Kerin Physiotherapy on board!
We want to make sure that everyone is taken care of and we are ready to enjoy a fantastic morning with you, so we need everyone attending to book in.
Please note that there are no toilets at PAC Park. We recommend that you wear sensible footwear, preferably joggers and you must wear pink! The weather is likely to be warm, so a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle is essential.
Looking forward to seeing you all there to raise funds and awareness for the McGrath Foundation Breast Care Nurses.
