Looking At Landcare (20/10/2021) – Rural Women to Gather Virtually

Hi Landcarers

As many of you would know, the 2021 NSW Rural Women’s Gathering was scheduled to be held this weekend in Forbes.

Central West Lachlan Landcare, with funding from Gotcha4Life are pleased to be able to offer a fantastic online session to our Gathering faithful…and importantly, for women of the Forbes and Parkes Shires.

We would have been welcoming women on Friday, 22 October to the Central West, but instead we are going to connect with a Tomorrow Woman Gather session online!

The workshop will be held between 1pm and 3pm in the hope of making this as accessible as possible to all women. The event is held via zoom. Once you register a link will be sent to you for the session. Age restrictions are 18+. If you would like to attend with your someone over 12 years, this is possible if you are the legal guardian.

Join us online, with the Tomorrow Woman team, in a judgement-free environment, for an engaging and impactful workshop. We’ll have a casual and honest conversation about exploring the impact of gender stereotypes and about modern womanhood in this changing landscape.

Through engaging activity we’ll take some time out and recalibrate our collective femininity, and ask the question, as women, what do we need today and what do we want for tomorrow?

Gather was born from a need to bring village vibes back into communities by bringing women of all ages together to share stories and wisdom.
Through engaging activity, we create a judgement-free space without competition to take some timeout and recalibrate our collective femininity.

Join us for an engaging and powerful two hours of honest conversation unpacking the history, expectations and facts of modern day womanhood, challenging the status quo and asking the question “Who is the woman I want to be tomorrow?”

We are so thrilled to have Tomorrow Woman on board and want our community to be able to experience and be encouraged through this online event.

The NSW RWG Forbes Committee know that this will not take the place of a face to face gathering, but we hope that it will inspire you until 1 April 2021 when we will meet in Forbes for a wonderful couple of days!
