RWG INFORMATION EVENING POSTPONED: As you may know, this year’s NSW Rural Women’s Gathering is to be held in Forbes between 23 – 25 October.

Central West Lachlan Landcare are pleased to be supporting the event and value the contribution from many supporters and contributors helping to bring this event together.

We are excited to hear that a large number of women from across the State have already booked accommodation and bus transport for the event. We are looking forward to having our registrations up online in the months ahead.

The event has been postponed – New date TBA. On that evening the Committee will be covering off on information about the Gathering, including advice on how to submit an expression of interest to host a workshop or field trip.

The Gathering Committee wish to make a wide variety of learning opportunities available to attendees, with the goal of helping them to learn a new skill, be creative, be inspired, focus on themselves, relax and have fun.

During the 2019 Walcha Gathering, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to get feedback from attendees on what they would like to see included as part of the 2020 Gathering program. Their feedback is assisting the Committee to make decisions on the opportunities that will be on offer.

There is a formal expression of interest form available to download. This can be accessed via the Central West Lachlan Landcare site. The Rural Women’s Gathering site still having the final touches put on it.

The Committee are very excited to release their new logo this week, which encapsulates AMAZING red, which is our theme colour, the Forbes Shire colours, acknowledging the support from Forbes Shire, and obviously, the theme, Amazing Women With Vision.

We are also seeking sponsorship to make this Gathering more accessible to more women. Obviously, given the circumstances that have faced much of our State over the past few years, we want to take as much financial pressure off rural women as possible.

If you would like a Sponsorship Prospectus, get in contact with us ASAP. There are many ways that you can support the Gathering, both financially, and in kind. We love to show the support from the community.
