We are thrilled to finally be able to host our NSW Rural Women’s Gathering Information Evening on 24 March 2021 from 6pm at Forbes Golf Club.
Last year we were just on the cusp of promoting the event when COVID-19 wiped the event off the map for 2020. We are fortunate to be able to re-schedule and continue to host the event in 2021.
This is a fantastic opportunity for women in the Central West of the State, with an event of this calibre to be held in our local area.
The NSW Rural Women’s Gathering will be held in Forbes between 22 and 24 October 2021.
Central West Lachlan Landcare are pleased to be supporting the event and value the contribution from many supporters and contributors helping to bring this event together.
During the Information Evening, Committee members will be covering off on information about the Gathering, including advice on how to submit an expression of interest to host a workshop or field trip, Sponsorship options for the event and other opportunities for involvement.
During the evening we are thrilled to also be announcing our fantastic Key Note Speakers!
The Gathering Committee wish to make a wide variety of learning opportunities available to attendees, with the goal of helping them to learn a new skill, be creative, be inspired, focus on themselves, relax and have fun.
During the 2019 Walcha Gathering, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to get feedback from attendees on what they would like to see included as part of the next Gathering program. Their feedback is assisting the Committee to make decisions on the opportunities that will be on offer.
Please note that registrations for the evening are essential. Links are on the Rural Women’s social media pages or our Landcare website.
Given the circumstances that have faced much of our State over the past few years, we want to take as much financial pressure off rural women as possible, so sponsorship is essential to providing this event.
If you would like a Sponsorship Prospectus or Workshop/Field Trip Hosting Expression of Interest, paperwork is available via our Landcare website. There are many ways that you can support the Gathering, both financially, and in kind.
